FOXTEL

FOXTEL is an Australian subscription TV Company that provides PAY-TV packages to subscribers to watch movies 24 hours a day. Foxtel getting started packages begin from as low as $36.95 while their Platinum packages are $101.95 per month. This includes two free FOXTEL Box Office movies each billing cycle.

Pay television can be purchased by anyone willing to part with the monthly fee. There are two ways you can receive the broadcast either via cable or with satellite television. Cable has an advantage in that your picture is never interrupted because of rain, which sometimes causes a problem to your satellite transmission.

FOXTEL is especially popular with those who like to watch their movies and sports with the PAY-TV provider serving up nine designated movie channels not including the FOXTEL Box Office.

FOXTEL Box Office Movies are the latest release movies you can watch on Pay television. These are movies that have been released on DVD but as yet are still some time away from being shown on free to air television.

Box Office movies cost $5.95 each to watch and you can watch them all day and night with the movie stopping the following morning at 7am.

With the new digital enhancements made incorporated by FOXTEL you can now watch and record a movie at the same time and simply playback any part of the movie you missed should you need to leave the room for any reason.

Pay TV offers many sport channels with viewers now able to take their pick of English Premier League matches on a Saturday night. With 5 live games usually available to choose from this is great if you want to watch how your favourite team is playing and they arent one of the big four clubs who generally get put on whenever there is live coverage of English soccer.

All sports are covered with FOXTEL from the World Series of Poker in Vegas to the AFL and NRL football games we all enjoy.

Foxtel offers a great deal more than just sport and movies with plenty of educational channels for both the young and old.

Discovery channels and the lifestyle channel teach you everything from history to cooking healthy foods. There is certainly something for everyone with subscription TV.

Regional and rural viewers can also subscribe to Pay TV with FOXTEL providing content for Australian telecommunications company AUSTAR. Many of the programs offered by FOXTEL can be seen through AUSTAR who service country subscribers.

The big advantage of having FOXTEL PAY-TV is that you dont have to wait until 8-30 to watch the movie of the week. You can grab the FOXTEL guide and check out the movie channels to see whats playing now. If there is nothing that catches your eye then you can simply press the Box Office button on your remote control to see what the latest release movies are.

Some people can order a movie directly from their seat using the remote control. Others need to call the 1300 number and go through the voice prompts to book their Box Office Movie.
