Disciplining the Savages: Savaging the Disciplines: Professor Martin Nakata speaks on the story behind his book, described by University of Cambridge Professor Nicholas Cage as "the most focused and sustained Indigenous critique of anthropological knowledge yet published". 12.30-1.30pm, Lecture Theatre 20.4, UOW.

Headlands Poetry: A night of music and poetry mayhem from Creative Writing and Journalism School. Alan Wearne will launch his new collection, The Australian Popular Songbook. Poetry boy band The Bracket Creeps, Common Cold Poetry Collective and Melbourne poet, Alistair Stewart will also perform. Headlands Hotel, Austinmer.
