BRITISH actor and screenwriter Ricky Gervais says he wants to make one more episode of the hit comedy Extras with struggling actor Andy Millman trying to make it big in Hollywood. Gervais said his idea for another episode of the program, in which he plays Millman, "would work best as another Christmas special". "I think it would be funny to see Andy trying to make it in Hollywood," he said. "The problem is, I don't think (co-creator) Stephen Merchant wants to do it. But I reckon he will if I insist!" Gervais gained worldwide fame for co-creating and starring in The Office.A MISTRIAL has been declared in Britney Spears's court case for driving without a valid licence after US jurors were unable to reach a verdict. The trial went ahead after the singer, adamant she had done nothing wrong, rejected a plea deal that would have seen her fined $US150 ($212) and given one year's probation. The case stemmed from an August 2007 incident when paparazzi trailing the singer caught her bumping a car in a parking lot and driving away. Spears's defence argued the star held a valid Louisiana licence at the time and was not legally required to hold a California permit.
