Free Movies
Free movies, or downloading movies over the internet, have emerged over the recent years as a major factor of the movies industry with many various websites offering this service, both legally and illegally. Downloading free movies only requires broadband internet connection with modern high speed computers now being equipped to download several moves at the one time.
Download movies websites range from between free movies downloads, P2P networks (or peer-to-peer networks) and paid online movie sites with each presenting its own pros and cons, with some of the major issues coming down to copyright issues.
The most well known of the free movies websites would be YouTube, a videos sharing website that allows users to share their own videos along with commercial content with users ranging from individuals to media corporations and other businesses and organisations.
Online free movies usually contain lists of movies that have not had their copyright renewed, meaning that they are open for the public consumption. However, for the latest movies being released it can be harder to find these without breaching copyright laws, although many sites only require a small fee payment for access to these films.
There have been developments to block any illegal free movies download to prevent the movies industry being overrun as has happened with the music industry. This new technology is being developed by Microsoft and it is generally being described as anti-movie piracy protection which should make it difficult when putting free movies on the Internet.
